Research Methodology

Benchmarking will be conducted on representative hardware configurations used by ETC node operators:

  • Entry-level: 4 CPU cores, 8GB RAM, 500GB SSD
  • Mid-range: 8 CPU cores, 16GB RAM, 1TB NVMe
  • High-end: 16 CPU cores, 32GB RAM, 2TB NVMe

Testing will use both synthetic workloads and replayed historical ETC transactions to ensure realistic conditions.
